About

     Jon Balliet has over 26 years of experience in the Service and Retail Liquor Industries, and has trained 64,000+ individuals in a variety of Responsible Vendor Programs nationwide, as well as 1000+ individuals in the ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification. In addition to his classroom experience, Jon has been qualified as a Professional Witness in multiple Criminal and Civil Legal Cases related to Liquor Liability.

 

  In 2025, after teaching the national alcohol programs for 18 years, Jon had his own brand of Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) class approved by the Colorado Department of Revenue Liquor Enforcement Division:

CRAFT Training CO - Alcohol RVT.

 

  Jon's personal philosophy is to teach all Programs from the server's perspective, focusing on how to protect yourself and your Liquor License while keeping all of your guests safe and happy at your restaurant or bar.  Jon is a staunch advocate for Servers and Server Rights and has vast experience in proven case studies with both Violation Mitigation and significant penalty reductions for his clients.

  When not in the classroom with clients, Jon is spending time with his wife Ann and their dogs at their home in Evergreen, CO.  They are always traveling the world looking for their next Food & Wine adventure.
